A volunteer is someone who chooses to act in recognition of a need, with an attitude of social responsibility and without concern for monetary profit.
Volunteers are recruited by this agency with the intent of expanding the volunteer’s experience within the community and to enhance the work of the staff at Cancer Services of East Central Indiana – Little Red Door.

Ginny Hershey has been a volunteer for 12 years. She is a retired LPN and still enjoys working with our clients. Ginny does everything from answering the phone to washing and styling the wigs.
Her hobbies are quilting, antiquing and gardening, especially flowers. She says, “It’s such a great pleasure to work at the Little Red Door and with the fine staff there.”
